Laminated Architectural Fabrics

Kastilo provides open mesh PTFE fabrics with a special architectural finish and a film lamination on both sides. The different mesh sizes enable us to get a translucence of 0% to 55%.

The film lamination and the impregnation minimize the Viking effect (capillary actions within the glass fabric). Due to the high tensile strength wide areas can be covered with these fabrics. The fabrics are UV stable and thus can be used outside.

PTFE Aramid Fabrics

We supply PTFE dip coated aramid fabrics in thicknesses of 0,18 mm to 0,41 mm. The main advantage of aramid fabrics over glass fabrics is their higher tear strength (x3).

The fabrics are also available in an antistatic finish. The continuous operation temperature is 200-220 °C.
